ATTIRES
GENERAL GUIDELINES
- No ear accessories allowed; only one pair of transparent earsticks allowed
- No coloured contact lenses
- Fingernails should be trimmed and clean
- Spectacle hooks should be used for bespectacled individuals
- Black spectacles are preferred
- Only 1 black watch per batch allowed
FULL UNIFORM (LAND)
PANTS
BELT
- No creases, random iron lines, etc.
- Distinct iron lines
- Must have correct iron lines on front and back of pants
- Front: Straight down starting from INSIDE of 1st belt loops
- Back: Inverted V shape starting from centre of pants
- Not too long nor too short
- Long enough to cover top two shoelaces on boots
- Short enough to not have gathers (hem it up if too long)
BELT
- Adjust to your size accordingly
- Fork of belt should come out on your right (i.e. thread fork anticlockwise)
- Pass through all belt loops
- Centralise to blouse buttons
- Plastic sliders pushed as close to the buckle as possible
- Polished till it’s shiny ALL OVER the boots (not just toecap)
- Worn with long black socks
- Lace shoes properly, tie chain knot with the excess and tuck into boots
BERET

Full Uniform (Sea)
This uniform is worn when going on board a vessel at sea.

Half Uniform
This uniform is usually worn for drill or parade trainings as it is more comfortable than the full uniform.
- Instead of the blouse, a unit T-shirt or crested T-shirt (with the NPCC crest) is worn tucked in such that the whole belt is visible.
- All other uniform parts are the same as the full uniform.
PT Kit
This uniform is usually worn for unit trainings and HQ activities involving physical activity (e.g. X-Challenge).
- Fringe should be neatly pinned up. Long hair should be tied into a french braid. Medium length hair should be tied into a half-half hairstyle. Short hair should not touch the collar.
- Only colourless earsticks are allowed.
- Only one black watch can be worn (per batch).
- The unit T-shirt should be neatly ironed and tucked in
- Only unit T-shirts are to be worn for training, but crested T-shirts may also be worn for other activities
- Slacks should be reasonably long and black with minimal logos.
- Socks should be plain white (i.e. no RGS socks), visible from all angles and worn with school shoes.
